Join us at Canopy for Houseplant 101: The Basics, a practical introduction to indoor plant care designed to help you better understand what your plants are asking for.

We’ll cover the essentials of light, watering, soil, drainage, repotting, common plant problems, pests, and seasonal care, along with simple tips and tricks that can make a big difference in keeping your plants healthy.

This workshop is designed for beginners, but longtime plant owners are welcome too. Bring your questions and photos of any houseplants you’re struggling with for a short Q&A and plant clinic at the end.

• Choosing the right plant for the right space
• Understanding indoor light
• How and when to water
• Soil, pots, and drainage
• When to repot
• Reading common signs of plant stress
• Basic pest awareness
• Seasonal changes in houseplant care
• Simple houseplant tips and tricks

Workshop Attendance Policy: This workshop requires a minimum number of participants. Canopy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event if minimum attendance is not met. Registered guests will be notified in advance and may choose a refund or transfer their registration to another workshop.

Workshop Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another available Canopy workshop. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop and no-shows are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. You may send someone else in your place. If Canopy cancels, you may choose a full refund or transfer.
