Before you drive up

Easy to get to. Easy to move through. Easy to stay.

We built Canopy so nobody has to think twice about the logistics — whether you're bringing a wheelchair, a stroller, a work laptop, or just a car that's a little too big for a tight lot. Here's exactly what to expect.

Short version: free parking, smooth accessible paths throughout the shopping and café areas, open every day but Sunday, and just off Route 9 with easy access from I-87. Nothing about the visit should require extra planning.

Getting around

Built to move through easily.

Canopy's customer areas are wheelchair accessible, from the entrance through the café and greenhouse. The primary shopping and seating areas use smooth, hard-surface flooring with no major bumps or thresholds to navigate — so a wheelchair, a walker, or a stroller moves through the space just as easily as anyone on foot.

You shouldn't need to scout the space ahead of time or ask staff to clear a path. It's built that way from the start.

Group visits

Trusted by the groups who need it most.

Nursing homes and assisted living communities bring residents to Canopy regularly, and we welcome visiting groups from special needs homes just as often. That's not an accident — it's the same smooth, step-free layout described above, tested week after week by the visitors who benefit from it most.

Planning a group visit of your own? Reach out ahead of time and we're glad to help make it an easy outing — from parking to seating to timing around a quieter part of the day.

Parking

Free, and rarely full.

Parking is free, with roughly 70 spaces on-site — enough room that you're unlikely to circle for a spot even on a busy weekend. Pull in, park, and you're at the door.

Driving something larger? Give yourself a little extra room to maneuver; the lot is built for everyday vehicles rather than long-term or overnight parking, so it's not a spot for RVs to park overnight.

Getting here

Right on the route, easy to reach.

Canopy is on Saratoga Road — Route 9 — just north of downtown Saratoga Springs, with quick access from Interstate 87. If you're heading toward Glens Falls, Lake George or the Adirondacks, you're already passing the door.

When to come

Here most days, all year.

Canopy is open year-round and closed on Sundays. Winter hours may run slightly shorter, so if you're planning a longer drive around a visit — especially in the colder months — it's worth a quick check of current hours before you go.

Come as you are

No workaround required — just show up.

Wheelchairs, strollers, big vehicles, laptops, dogs, kids — Canopy is designed so none of it is a logistics problem. Just an easy, comfortable stop near Saratoga Springs.
